REVIEW ON OUR ENGLISH IN ACTION WEEK
Let us tell you about our amusing English in Action week. For us, it was totally, amazing. We had much fun and really enjoyed it.
Our expectations were already pretty high, but the teachers were still able to meet them and even top them! It was a cool experience to talk to native speakers.
Because of the enjoyable activities we did each day of that week, we learned a lot of new words and other skills such as decoding mysterious messages, and finding good arguments for discussing about different topics.
We had much fun to prepare our mini exhibition for the last day. Our topic was about Madame Tussaud’s wax museum. We choose this theme because we thought we would be able to do some really creative and unique things for our presentation. For example, we made a lapbook where you could see Madame Tussaud’s, wax museum from the inside. Our group had great fun working at this project.
In our option, the decoding activity was the best. It was challenging and fun at the same time.
To sum it up, we can say that it was a really exciting experience to only speak English for a whole week. We feel a bit depressed about the fact that we won’t have another English in Action week next year. Still, we hope that the classes behind us will enjoy it as much as we did.

IMPROVING OUR ENGLISH IN ONLY ONE WEEK 😀
The “English in Action” week was a totally special week for us in this school year.
Firstly, it was very cool because we had no homework for the entire week. We had actually expected that the whole week would be less fun. What met our expectations, was that the teachers were helpful and friendly. Our class learned many new English words and how to tell other people a story. The teachers also played many fun games with us. We especially enjoyed the “two truths and one lie“ game, because Larry had amusing stories.
Another interesting part was when we prepared our mini exhibitions for our show on the last day. Our group of three chose the topic Harry Potter because we had all watched the films and already knew a lot about the story. All of us learned to present a topic in English to other people.
We think the “English in Action” week was a very exciting and entertaining way to improve our English.

THE BEST ENGLISH WEEK EVER
We would like to tell you about our best project week in English so far. Instead of some of us flying to England, our teacher organized this week at school, with teachers from England to us. This way all our classmates could participate.
Our expectations were that we would have ordinary English lessons all week, but it was much better than we had expected. We learned a lot of new words, and we had to speak English the whole week. After this awesome week, it felt even a bit weird to speak German, so that was amusing.
For us, the English in Action week was really great fun: We learned many new things, especially about mysterious codes. We were often supposed to work in groups with cool group names. We did a lot of spy activities and had to solve riddles.
The teachers we had this week were impressive, but they didn’t speak German. We taught them some German words, and it was funny to hear them try the German words.
At the end of the week, we got certificates because we presented our own projects, which we had created during the week, to our parents and other visitors. They were all really thrilled and impressed by our performances.
We really would like to do something like this again. In our mind, it was a great week with new adventures and activities. Thank you for this perfect week, where we learned so much!

OUR REVIEW ON ENGLISH IN ACTION WEEK
We would like to tell you about our amusing “English in Action“ week.
It was absolutely great and much fun: We understood the English, spoken by the native speakers, really well. The activities were also totally amazing. Honestly, the English in Action week not only met but even topped all our expectations. We learned better pronunciation, and many new words. We also learned to solve problems together.
For our mini exhibition, we chose the topic Madame Tussauds, because it is a wonderful wax museum. In fact, you can visit her museum all over the world now. We got the idea for this topic, because some of us had already been there in London and we were inspired by the wax figures. During our research, we learned many exciting facts about Madame Tussauds herself and her museums: For an example there are over 150 wax figures in London; or Madame Tussauds was a real person, who liked to make the wax figures or criminals, to help the police, before she produced figures of famous people. We enjoyed preparing and presenting our show, because it was an amazing experience to work together.
Finally, we would like to say that the “English in Action“ week really helped us improve our English, and we absolutely loved it!

A REVIEW OF OUR ENGLISH IN ACTION WEEK
We would like to tell you about the “English in Action” week we had at our school.
For us, the week was a bit unexciting, because we think our Englisch teacher Mrs. Wallner plans the English lessons much better than the teachers we had during this week. Additionally, Larry and Victoria often spoke really fast. Sadly, we didn´t understand as much as we hoped for. Unfortunately, we didn’t learn many new words because the teachers couldn’t explain anything in German.
We had expected it to be more fun. Some of the activities were interesting but definitely not all of them. The lessons where we prepared our own projects were good fun because we could work on our own. We enjoyed some lessons with Larry too, because he played many amusing games with us. The most fun game was the escape room game, because we were working in a group with friends and had to answer tricky questions.
On the show day, our team presented the topic Marvel and we acted out our sketch about a cooking show. We chose the theme „Marvel“ because we like the stories and the superheroes. And we did the cooking show because we thought it could be fun.
To sum it up, we would like to say that some parts of the week were tiresome, and we felt we didn’t learn as much as we had hoped. We enjoyed several lessons though and working with our friends.

OUR “ENGLISH IN ACTION” EXPERIENCE
From September 22nd to 26th, 2025, we had an English project week at our school. First, we were worried the English week would be boring, but it was definitely not as we had expected it. In addition to learning a lot, for us the week was truly good fun and unique because we had totally different projects and worked in teams.
During this week, we learned to speak English fluently, because we had to talk in English the whole time, and we played many fun games with the teachers and our classmates. We were positively surprised that the teachers were so calm and friendly.
Other activities we enjoyed were a game about the Olympic Games, and we also played a truly great game called Truth or Lie. There we had, to think about two truths and one lie: We had to make up believable stories to trick our classmates.
For our mini exhibitions for the end of the week, each group chose different topics. One project had the topic “Marvel”. Hira’s had chosen this because everyone had watched the movies. They drew and cut out characters and designed a power point presentation about it.
Another project was about the book “The summer I turned pretty”. Elina’s group chose it because they all watched the series, and they absolutely liked it. For the presentation they brought all three books of the series, a lot of flowers and shells to decorate the exhibition desk.
To sum it up: The “English in Action” week was fantastic, and we would totally like to have another English week, right away.

THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER
We would like to tell you about the “English in Action“ week in our school. We found the English week very exciting, and it totally helped us to speak the language English better. Our expectations were not only met; the week was even better than we had expected!
We learned a lot and did a lot of activities, but one of our highlights was the escape room game, because we did a lot of spy things and we love activities about something mysterious.
Other highlights were our self-written sketch and the presentation about London, because we could use our own ideas. We were allowed to work in teams. Luckily, we always like teamwork. We learned a lot about London, when we were researching about it.
We all prepared mini exhibitions on our I-Pads and decorated our desks in class. We prepared a presentation on our I-Pads for the day when our parents visited us, too. Also, we were allowed to decorate our desks with things that went with our topic. We were a bit nervous to present in front of our parents, because we had never done anything like this before. But in the end, it was worth it.
Our classmates also had cool presentations about Marvel characters, the book The Summer I Turned Pretty, Harry Potter, Madam Tussaud and Robin Hood.
We would like to add that we enjoyed all the games. They were good fun. In our view the „English in Action“ week was totally worth it. We would like to say “Thank you!“, to our teachers Larry and Victoria, because they helped us a lot.

REVIEW ON OUR ENGLISH IN ACTION WEEK
In this review, we are going to tell you about our fantastic “English in Action” week. For us, it was really good for practicing our English and we also would like to say it was very interesting to talk with people whose first language is English. The teachers were absolutely kind, and all the activities met our expectations.
We also learned how to prepare English presentations. We choose the topic Robin Hood, because we both watched the Disney movie as children and we also really like fantasy stories. We both found the fox in the green Robin Hood outfit unusual and amusing. First, we created a power point presentation about Robin. Then we prepared for speaking about the story, because on the last day the parents who visited our class, could ask us about our topic.
Additionally, we did a lot of enjoyable activities, for example an escape room game in which we had to answer tricky questions. It was always nice to work in groups, of course.
For the last day, we also wrote and practiced the sketch “The Million Show“. Lastly, we got a certificate and took a cool photo together.
In our opinion, the week was definitely very helpful for our English. Our highlight was the sketch, because the plot twist in the end of our story was in our view very surprising and a bit shocking for the audience.
Thank you for reading our review. We hope you got a good impression about what the week was about.

OUR WONDERFUL “ENGLISH IN ACTION“ WEEK
We would like to give you a review about our “English in Action“ week. The week was really enjoyable and exciting for us. We had a lot of fun and did many different activities and games.
We all understood the teachers very well, and the whole week was more helpful than we had expected: We learned a lot of new words and after a while our thoughts were also in English. This was amazing!
We especially liked the movie night at school with the adventure hunt. Also, the mini exhibition we presented to our parents and the sketches we wrote ourselves, were extremely amusing. We really enjoyed the time to plan and practice our sketch.
In the end, this English week was a totally great experience. We hope for the other classes that they can have an “English in Action“ week, too next year.
We really would like to thank our English teacher, Mrs. Wallner, who organized such a fun week for us.
