ENGLISH IN ACTION
For me, the English in action week was very interesting, good fun and nice.
On the first day, I thought it would be boring; but that was not the case. It was very cool to play games, to speak and to prepare for our show called “The Alien Headteacher “.
We had two teachers during this week. In the first lesson of the day, we started with Osian, and in the next lesson James was with us. Each day we had one hour to work on our project. Silvio, Davis, Nico and I made a presentation about the Los Angeles Lakers. I did the research, Nico and Davis wrote the text and Silvio drew the logo of the Lakers. We took the L.A. Lakers, because we all like basketball and we also like the famous basketball legend Kobe Bryant.
Friday was our big presentation day about the English week. The kids’ parents came to our class and listened our presentations.
All in all, was it a very cool week.

ENGLISH IN ACTION
I really liked this week. It was fun, and we played some games. The show we made was quite good, but first I was afraid and felt nervous about it.
The English in Action Week totally met my expectations. If I could have one week like this again, I would want it to be longer. I completely enjoyed it! The teachers tried their best to give us good experiences.
We also had projects. My friend Rachel and I talked about doing something about drawing styles and utensils. First, we chose to do a presentation about our comics, but the teacher said that we should prepare one about drawing. We knew about what we had to do, and we wanted to draw the pictures by ourselves, but we did not have enough time.
So, we used some pictures from the internet. We had a lot of fun, preparing our presentation and: Tada! It was not exactly the way we hoped it would be, but it was still okay. In the end we had not much time left and I forgot some pictures at home. Rachel drew a picture very fast. We made it just in time and the parents liked our presentation after all.
I would like to have one more adventure like this!

OUR ENGLISH IN ACTION WEEK
The week was amazing. It was so much fun, and I learned really much. It definitely met my expectations.
For our presentation, we chose the topic sea animals because we all found it interesting. We had to pick a topic we all found interesting and did not know too much about. We worked on our projects in the fifth lesson each day, but we sometimes did some research at home. After all the research everyone wrote a short information text and sent it to Sophie, so she could copy the text that we had sent her and put it in the Power Point presentation.
The English week was great! I really liked it. For me, it was one of the best weeks in the whole year! I hope we will also have it again next year.

THE ENGLISH IN ACTION WEEK
The English in action week was really not what I expected. I expected to learn English obviously, but I thought it would be very boring. Instead, we learned through playing interactive games, and the projects were cool.
Supriya and I chose the topic about drawing because we both enjoy it, and it is one of our hobbies. We started by drawing a mind map about our hobbies and stuff we like. We picked out the one we had in common and what we thought would make an interesting presentation. Picking the topic “video games” was tempting, too. But in the end, we decided drawing would be better.
Another thing that was awesome was that we could collect points. The show was really fun, too, although it was quite short because we did not have too much time to learn more parts and act.

ENGLISH IN ACTION IMPROVED MY ENGLISH!
In my point of view, I really improved during the English week. It was not difficult to understand the English of the teachers.
As the students had to think of a play themselves, we chose a topic that everybody liked. In fact, I was the bad alien headmaster in the play. Although I was the evil headmaster, I had quite a lot of fun with the acting. Personally, I think, acting is excellent to learn a language.
However, the most interesting activity we did was creating a poster. As we could choose our topics, I chose glaciers because I am really interested in the climate change. So, I wrote about the snow-covered ice, the frozen ground and of course about the glacier valleys in the Alps. In the beginning I wanted to talk about fossils. On the one hand I am very interested in fossils, but on the other hand I was worried that it would be too boring for all the parents. In the end I chose glaciers which was a good idea since the people understood the presentation very well. Finally, we also acted out our play, and it was a big success.
In my opinion the “English in Action” week should take place again next year.
